Meet the Athlete

Daleny started racing at the age of 3. She got into BMX because her parents ran the local track in town. She's been riding ever since and wouldn't change it for the world. Some of her accomplishments that she is most proud of are: winning the NAG 5 Challenge, being on the podium in her first elite race, winning the Grand Nationals, and making her first UCI World Cup main event in Bogota, Columbia. Daleny loves the challenge of the sport and looks forward to working towards her goals everyday.

What is something you would tell your younger self if you could go back in time?

Don't stress over/get upset about every result just enjoy the process and experiences.

Growing up, how did youth sports, cycling or others, impact who you are today?

All I cared to do was ride my bike, and I spent all my time doing it. It allowed me to have a focus and a goal and do everything I could to accomplish them.
